Alpacas For Sale at The Alpaca Stud
We have available for sale both huacaya and suri alpacas, and are able to offer buyers a wide choice of alpacas in all colours including white, fawn, brown, black and grey, across a wide age range and a broad price band.
All but a few of the alpacas in our sales list below have pedigrees based on pure Peruvian genetics and bloodlines that can be traced back to the world famous Peruvian herd names Accoyo and Alianza. They are sired by and mated to outstanding males with pedigrees going back to famous sires such as Hemingway, Caligula, Super Sam, Jolimont, Iceman, and Vengador, to name but a few.
Breeding carefully for a number of years from this foundation enables us to also offer for sale many show winning alpacas, including a number of stud quality males. We only offer males for sale we are confident will promote and enhance your own breeding and showing programme.
Having said that, we do castrate 98% of all males born that do not meet our high standards, but many of these wethers (geldings) are still magnificent fleece-producing animals. We always have a wide selection of high quality fibre-producing wethers (geldings) available for sale that would appeal to spinners looking for pleasurable companion animals. Other wethers are better suited for protecting sheep from foxes. Please let us know your requirements when selecting wethers.
It is our policy to select and breed for conformational excellence, coupled with either outstanding fibre characteristics and/or a highly evolved pedigree. We are confident that our approach has established The Alpaca Stud herd as a source of prime, and importantly, reliable high quality genetics.

Sale Contracts
All our alpacas are sold with a warranty that gives you peace of mind. We spend time with you to make sure the alpacas you buy best meet your requirements and expectations. We will replace any alpaca that does not “gel” with you in its new home.
